Fruit Growth Projection Tool
Estimate whether current fruit size is on track for a harvest size target using user-entered measurements and growth assumptions.
Tool status
Planned tool
This page describes a tool that is not built yet. It is listed so you can see what Orchard Lab is planning. No calculator or decision logic is available on this page.
How to use this result
Project whether fruit size is tracking toward a harvest target from current measurements.
What this tool does
It applies simple growth assumptions to current fruit size and days after bloom.
What this tool does not do
It does not predict packout quality or market price. Heat, drought, or heavy crop load can alter real growth.
How to use this result
Use the projection to decide if thinning, irrigation, or nutrition adjustments are worth discussing. Re-sample fruit size every one to two weeks during cell division and expansion.
Assumptions
- Weather and crop load remain near current conditions.
Limitations
- Simple projection only; stress or heavy crop load can change growth curves.
