Calculator

Conversion type

Enter your values and click Calculate.

What this calculator determines

Converted volume or weight units, gallons-to-liters, and basic tank math (acres per tank, product per tank).

Formula or calculation method

Volume conversion — Values are converted through US gallons using: 128 fl oz, 4 qt, 8 pt, or 3.785 L per gallon.

Weight conversion — Values are converted through pounds using 16 oz per pound.

Acres per tank = tank size (gal) ÷ gallons per acre

Amount per tank (rate per acre) = rate per acre × acres per tank

Amount per tank (per 100 gal) = (amount per 100 gal × tank size) ÷ 100

Weight-to-volume conversion requires product density and is not supported.

Definitions of inputs

  • Value and units — Amount to convert (volume or weight modes).
  • Tank size — Sprayer tank capacity in gallons.
  • Gallons per acre — Carrier volume applied per acre.
  • Rate per acre — Product amount applied per acre (you enter; calculator does not validate legality).
  • Amount per 100 gallons — Product rate expressed per 100 gallons of spray mix.

Worked example

Example only — not a recommendation.

A 300-gallon tank at 50 GPA:

  • Acres per tank = 300 ÷ 50 = 6 acres per tank

How to interpret the result

Use converted values to double-check label math and tank planning. Always verify final rates against the current product label before mixing or applying.

Assumptions

  • This tool performs math only using standard unit relationships.

Limitations

  • Does not determine legal or appropriate pesticide rates.
